Basic matters

What time is check-in?
Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Please contact us in advance if you will be arriving after 6:00 p.m.)
Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. -
What are the child rates?
The rates for elementary school students are 70% of the adult rate (meals are the same as for adults) and for infants 50% (dinner is a children's meal).
The facility usage fee for infants who sleep with their parents (3 years old and over, no bedding or meals) is 2,200 yen (tax included).* This may vary depending on the plan.

Can I stay for one night with breakfast only?
Depending on the season, we may have plans available that include breakfast for one night, so please check the online reservation plans.

Can I stay by myself?
We do not have single rooms; however, we can discuss this depending on the situation.

Can I stay with my pet?
We do not allow pets inside the building.

Can I use the in-house facilities while wearing a yukata?
You can wear yukata and slippers in all areas of the building.

Can I smoke inside the building?
Smoking is not permitted in any of the guest rooms or public spaces.
If you wish to smoke, please use the designated smoking areas.- Next to the entrance on the 3rd floor in the Public Wing

Are the guest rooms air-conditioned? Can I borrow something if it is cold or hot?
The guest rooms are air-conditioned; however, the air conditioning in the building is centrally controlled.
Guests cannot switch between heating and cooling in each guest room by themselves.We have blankets and electric fans that you can borrow, so please feel free to ask at the reception desk if you would like to use them.
* Please note that there is a limited number of blankets and electric fans available.
Regarding guest rooms

Are there non-smoking rooms?
All guest rooms have been non-smoking since April 2021.
If you wish to smoke, please use the designated smoking areas located in three places in the building.- Next to the entrance on the 3rd floor in the Public Wing
- In front of the “AGONOUMI” restaurant on the 2nd floor in the SANYO Wing
- Next to the banquet room “MISAKI” on the 1st floor in the KAYO Wing
All public spaces are also non-smoking.

Do you have Western-style rooms?
All guest rooms are basically Japanese-style.
* However, there are some guest rooms with beds (special rooms and Japanese-style rooms with beds).

Is the hot water in the baths in the guest rooms from a hot spring?
The hot water in the baths in the guest rooms is heated water.
Regarding cuisine and dining venue

If I have an allergy, can you change the menu?
We will do our best to accommodate you, so please contact us by phone or email at least five days before your stay.
If you notify us the day before or on the day, we may be unable to change the menu or charge an additional fee. Please be sure to contact us when you make your reservation.
* Please note that the number of dishes may be fewer than the original menu.
* The eight specific allergenic ingredients are indicated on each dish at the buffet venue.

Do you offer halal or vegan options?
No, we don’t.

What time is mealtime?
The mealtime is from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (from 5:00 p.m. in summer). Please arrive at the inn by 7:30 p.m.
* Meals at the restaurant are served with two seating times: (1) from 5:30 p.m. and (2) from 7:30 p.m. Please choose in advance.
(Depending on the season and meal style, the two seating times may be (1) from 5:00 p.m. and (2) from 7:00 p.m.)
Regarding services

Do you offer a laundry service?
There is no laundry room in the building, so please come to the reception desk and we will give you directions to the nearest coin laundry. (You will need a car.)

Is there a convenience store nearby?
There is a convenience store within Kashikojima Station. It is not open 24 hours a day. (It is not open in the early morning or late at night.)
A 24-hour convenience store is located approximately 10 minutes away by car.
Regarding hot spring

What is the maximum age for children to be able to bathe with adults of the opposite sex in the grand bathroom and open-air garden baths?
In Mie Prefecture, where Kashikojima Hojoen is located, the public bathhouse ordinances enacted by local governments provide that children aged seven and over are not allowed to bathe with adults of the opposite sex. (From July 1, 2022)

Is one-day bathing possible?
One-day bathing is possible.
<Fees>
- Adults (12 years and over) 2,000 yen (bath tax included)
- Children (4 years and over) 1,000 yen* A face towel is included. A bath towel is available for lending.
<Time>
Noon - 5:00 p.m. (Outside of these hours, the baths are for guests staying with us only.)* Please note that these hours are subject to change due to maintenance, etc.
For guests who have eaten at the restaurant, fees are 1,250 yen (bath tax included) for adults and 600 yen for elementary school students.
Guests who ordered the seasonal or monthly lunch with advance reservations can enjoy bathing for the special price of 700 yen (bath tax of 150 yen included). -
What time can I use the grand bathroom?
Noon to midnight and 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the following day
* Please note that these hours are subject to change due to maintenance, etc.
* If you are using a one-day trip bathing plan, you can only use the baths between noon and 5:00 p.m. -
Do the grand bathroom for men and women switch over?
We do not switch over the grand bathroom for men and women at our inn.

Please tell me about the spring quality and effects of the hot spring.
Spring quality: Sodium chloride and bicarbonate hot spring (hypotonic, weakly alkaline, and high-temperature spring)
Beneficial for the following: Neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder, motor paralysis, bruising, sprains, chronic digestive disorders, hemorrhoids, poor circulation, convalescence, fatigue recovery, health promotion, etc.

Is the hot spring water free-flowing?
No, it is not.
It is a heated, circulating filtration system (no water added). -
Can I take a bath with tattoos?
We do not allow people with tattoos to bathe.

Do you have private baths?
No, we don’t.

Is there a pick-up service from the station?
There is a free shuttle bus that runs regularly between the nearest station, Kintetsu Kashikojima Station, and this inn. * No reservation required.

Is there a parking lot? Is it free?
There is a parking lot in front of the entrance. It is free to use.

What should I do if I want to send my luggage in advance?
Please be sure to write the date of your stay and the name your reservation is under on the shipping slip and have it sent to the reception desk of this inn.
We will keep it at the reception desk until the day of your stay.
Please note that if the date of your stay or reservation name is not written on the shipping slip or if we cannot find the corresponding reservation, we may call the contact number on the slip to confirm.* We can only accept clothing, documents and similar items. Please do not put items that are difficult to store in your luggage.
* If you are applying as part of a tour or group, please also include the name of the tour or group. -
Do you provide internet connection services?
Wi-Fi is available in the guest rooms, lobby, restaurants and banquet rooms.
