Kashikojima Hojoen is located about 40 minutes by car from Ise Jingu, often called a sacred place of Japanese culture, and near Kashikojima Station on the Kintetsu line. Located inside the Ise Shima National Park, which is known for its ria shoreline and warm climate, Kashikojima Hojoen is a Japanese-style inn with a natural hot spring, and also features an excellent view, both from our rooms and from our common soaking area. We're easily accessible by car—just a two to three-hour drive from Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoya—making us a popular spot for getting away. Kashikojima Hojoen is also a great spot for seafood lovers. Many famous Japanese seafood delicacies, such as ise ebi (lobster), awabi (bearded clam), kaki (oysters), and fugu (blowfish), are produced in this area, and we offer Japanese-style meals that feature fresh, local ingredients. And no visit is complete without enjoying our natural hot spring, whether it be in our common soaking area, or in our Japanese garden-themed outdoor hot spring bath where you'll feel the closeness of the sea. Each of the 169 rooms at Kashikojima Hojoen offers an ocean view. Basic rooms feature a Japanese design, complete with tatami mats and futons, and we also offer mixed-style rooms with a tatami room and a Western bedroom, and rooms with an outdoor bath. All rooms are complete with a bath, Western-style toilet, refrigerator, television, and air conditioning. Traditional yukata robes, towels, and toothbrushes are also provided.
